Short answer: do not force Petra or Yun + Alice before they end on September 9. Emily starts after maintenance, the Origin Wishlist is permanent, and Bazhuli does not start until September 16. F2P accounts can wait for Emily testing and inspect the live Wishlist roster before choosing.

Petra Live Testing
Petra's banner timing is live, but her final tier, best team and duplicate value are not settled. Use the Petra build guide as a testing checklist rather than a finished ranking. Good early checks are whether she improves your current Carmen, Xuanji, Maro, Patra or Peseshet shells at the same investment level.
Because Petra and Yun + Alice both end on September 9, prioritize only a banner where your pity progress is already meaningful. If neither pool is close to a useful breakpoint, saving for Emily or checking the permanent Wishlist is the lower-risk choice.
Beginner Rule
If you still lack a stable frontline, healer, and main carry, prioritize account structure over rarity. A complete team clears more content than a single expensive unit with no support.
Pity Reminder
The August 26 Eternal Contact uses 80 / 70 / 60 pity tiers for Isabe / Isabelle. The August 19 Limited Contact notice listed 100 / 80 / 60 pity tiers. Origin Contact tracks cumulative pulls, and the August 26 notice says unused count from Lomi / Lumi carries into the next Origin Contact while the pity cap resets. Check the banner page before spending because pity UI improvements are planned for September 9.
