Best Overall MAJO Team

Carmen + Xuanji + Patra + Maro is the strongest balanced launch-version recommendation for general PvE, progression, and difficult stages. It has a real frontline, two complementary damage paths, and sustain.

Best Execution Team

Carmen + Xuanji + Jenny + Maro focuses on Knockdown and Execution windows. Jenny adds burst, while Carmen and Maro keep the damage core alive long enough to cycle skills.

Best Magic Team

Carmen + Patra + Xuanji + Peseshet uses Patra's AoE pressure and a magic-oriented support core. It is useful when broad damage and Extreme Skill support matter more than a second physical burst unit.

Best Team Without Four SS Characters

Garana + Jenny + Peseshet + Dusan is a practical alternative built around protection, sustain, Stagger, Knockdown, and Execution. Missing the top tier does not make an account unusable.

Best Beginner Team

Use the best available Witch for each job:

1. Frontline: Carmen, Garana, Qing, or Budi.
2. Primary damage: Xuanji, Jenny, Patra, or Xinzi.
3. Sustain/support: Maro, Peseshet, or Doroa.
4. Synergy slot: the character who creates or exploits your main control/burst window.

Best F2P Team Rule

Build around the characters the account can actually upgrade. A lower-tier Witch with accessible duplicates and a clear team job can outperform an unbuilt SS character. Preserve rare materials until the core four are stable.

Team Building Explained

MAJO's official roles are Infiltration, Block, Enhancement, and Amplification. Use them as a diagnostic framework, not a mandatory one-of-each rule. If the squad collapses, add protection; if it survives but times out, improve damage conversion; if skills do not connect, fix Stagger/Knockdown/Execution sequencing.
