Roster reviewed: September 18, 2026. MAJO calls its playable characters Witches. The table combines official roster/class information with a clearly labeled launch-version community PvE ranking; it is not an official balance list.
The current safest SS PvE anchors remain Carmen, Xuanji, Maro, and Patra. Newer or patch-sensitive Witches such as Emily, Bazhuli, Petra, Isabe / Isabelle, and Lomi / Lumi stay in Testing until live PvE evidence is strong enough to give them a final tier.

Best MAJO Characters Right Now
- Carmen: the safest frontline anchor in the current community consensus.

Emily, Bazhuli, Petra, Isabe / Isabelle and Lomi / Lumi
The September update window added more names that players will see in searches, banners or community reports. Emily, Bazhuli, Petra, Isabe / Isabelle, and Lomi / Lumi should be checked as live roster entries, but their final PvE tier still needs stronger role, team, boss and investment evidence.
Different official and community localizations use different spellings, so this wiki keeps aliases such as Isabe / Isabelle and Lomi / Lumi on one page instead of splitting duplicate character pages.
Which Character Should Beginners Build?
Build a complete squad before chasing four top-ranked damage dealers. A durable frontline, reliable carry, healing or protection, and a character who supports the control/burst loop will progress more consistently than a tier-only lineup.
If you own Carmen, Xuanji, Maro, or Patra, they are strong long-term candidates in the current launch PvE environment. Jenny, Xinzi, Garana, and Peseshet remain useful alternatives rather than automatic reroll failures. If your account starts with a Testing Witch, compare their role with your frontline, carry and sustain slots before investing rare materials.
Version and Update Policy
