Does MAJO Pity Carry Over?

Yes, within the scope stated for the same Contact system. The official August 19 update says unused cumulative counts for both Origin Contact and Limited Contact carry into the next period. It does not say every count transfers between different banner types.

If you are at 43 pulls when a banner ends, do not assume the count disappears—but also do not assume it moves from Origin Contact to Limited or Eternal Return Contact.

Limited Contact Pity: 100 → 80 → 60

Pity triggerMaximum Contacts
First pity100
Second pity80
Third and later pity60

The count accumulates during the banner and unused progress carries into the next Limited Contact period according to the official notice.

Origin Contact Pity

Origin Contact also tracks cumulative pulls and carries unused progress into its next period. The rotation moves from Yuhong to Lomi and then Petra, but read the in-game details before spending because guarantees and currency can differ.

Eternal Return Contact and UR Isabe

UR Isabe's August 26 Eternal Return Contact uses Witch Contract: Eternal Return Contact or Revelation Crystal. Do not treat it as Origin or Limited Contact or assume their pity counts apply.

Why the Pity UI Is Confusing

The MAJO producer acknowledged that the interface does not clearly show accumulated Contact count, remaining pulls, pool relationships, or carryover rules. A September 9 UI update is planned.

Safe Pull Checklist

  1. Confirm the banner type.
  2. Read the current pity cap and featured-unit rule.
  3. Note your accumulated count before the banner ends.
  4. Confirm eligible currency.
  5. Only assume carryover within the scope named by the official notice.
